Review by hotel critic
I recently spent three nights at Treebo, and I found it to be a fair blend of comfort and value, though it's not without its quirks. The room was decent in size, with familiar furnishings; however, they could benefit from a refresh-some of the units felt a bit dated. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue with the air conditioning, which wasn't working at night. Despite being too fatigued to request a room change, I appreciated that the staff offered to assist. The highlight for me was the lovely balcony. Enjoying my morning tea there, overlooking the posh, green neighbourhood, was a delightful start to my day. The rooftop breakfast was a nice touch too, albeit with a limited spread, but still enough to fill the stomach. The location is quite central, which made getting around easy, and the wifi was strong enough for my needs. Given the value for money, particularly considering the overall experience, I'd say Treebo is worth a look for those balancing cost and comfort.
